Fitting springs, good garages near reading???

Have just purchased a set of Tein lowering springs and have been given 2 quotes to fit so far:

 

(1) £212 excl 4 wheel laser allignment

(2) £250 incl 4 wheel laser allignment

 

I think they are both quite expensive when I've been told springs can be fitted by a professional in 2 - 3 hours.

 

Does anyone know a good garage within 40 miles of Reading who are economical on price?

Can't help you with any good garage in Reading, although Horsham Developments (traders on here) arent too far away from you and they do Suspension setups, also they know the Zed.

 

On the prices you were quoted, they don't seem all that bad. Most garages charge £50-60 p/h labour and a good aligment can cost about £100.

 

Try giving Horsham a ring and see what they can do

+1 on Horsham. I had my Meister coilovers fitted with toe arms, drop links and laser alignment. Did a fantastic job so give Jez a call

Horsham fitted my scorpion exhaust and I rate them very highly.

 

I've asked Jez to fit me in next week for lowering spring fitment and new belts
