Key Fob Plipper Thing Not Working

Hi guys.

 

Firstly, mine is a 2003 U.K. 350Z.

 

I left work this evening and all was well.

I stopped at a shop on the way home (off license ) and the key fob wouldn't open the car, so I had to do the key in door, alarm going off until ignition on routine.

 

When I got home I put a new battery in the fob (although it was only a few months old anyway) but still nothing.

The car came with two fobs and the other one works fine.

 

 

So, is this problem one that is known about?

And what is the best way to go about getting a new fob / programming etc.

 

 

I did try using the search function but couldn't work it out!

Note you have to be fast with the key turning to get it into encoding mode.
