front speakers

i am going to change the front speakers, i know the 6.5 components is the correct size,

 

but i am conscious of the depth of the magnets.

 

 

has anyone done this ?

 

and what speakers have you used.

Hertz HSK 165's fitted to mine front composite & rear co-axial

 

I've attached the technical detail for the HSK 165's for reference

 

I think from memory anything over 80mm total depth will cause issues unless you make your own speaker pods that come out from the door card... which look

i saw those speaker pods on another thread, the angle and standard grilles arent great so i may loo at those, which will then increase my options
