Battery disconnect/window drop

So,having disconnected my battery to re-charge it after it went flat (me stupidly leaving lights on),I got the car running again, but, because I did not read the instructions in the drivers manual, I lost the "window drop".

So I went through the procedure in the manual and the driver side window now is OK but the passenger side has no "drop".

Which got me thinking...should the passenger one be the same as the driver side, because I've not had the car long so cannot remember if it was always like it is now.

On the other hand,if it is faulty, what do I do next?I've done a search and seen something about removing the door casing and doing a window re-set,is that next? Can anyone help?

Yes, they should both drop in unison about 5mm (in metric).

Try doing a window reset first - do a search for that. ;) Taking the door card off isn't hard though.
