350z import/uk gt cubby hole 2003

So i have a uk gt, floppy cubby lid

 

So apart from the jap model having the retractable cubby was the colour different at all ? I know the button is grey

Is the problem that the cubby lid will not retract on it's own.

Does the jap retractable lid come in a different colour ?

 

I may be swapping my floppy lid for a retractable so wanted to know if its a colour match
