Recommend me a Sat Nav to Fit Cubby

As above guys looking for a sat nav to mount in a 2004 manual cubby, any price considered

PS Can you just splice the usb charger for the sat nav into the HU power cable????

This is basically what a Nurrish sat-nav is... buy it, dismantle it, and fit it into your cubby.

 

Looks a bit scary when you see it mounted behnd your dash with exposed circuitboards etc, but it looks OEM.

It would be a case of completely dismantling it and sticking the screen behind the cubby, and mounting the circuit board behind that. Then you'd need to butcher the power lead and wire that into the +/- of the stereo. 3 hours work if you know what you're doing... (and a roll of double sided tape!)

Hmm looks quite snare and very oem, do you just need to take the back off the navvy? Or do you need to split the screen from the PCB etc

You'll need to remove the PCB and screen from the housing it comes in. Then put double sided tape around the inside of the cubby, and attach the screen to that. Then mount the PCB onto the back of that screen, or make a bracket for it etc...

 

However please be aware - the device in the ebay link i provided - i dont know if thats the right one to use... you should measure the cubby size to see what screen size you need...

Couldnt tell you im afraid... if you search for Nurrish Sat Nav on here - thats what i have. It was already in my car when i bought it, i just ended up removing/refitting it as i broke it - and i never measured it...

I think a 7" tablet wouldnt fit the cubby without modding it, Im looking for something that I can stick in a 04 cubby and then splice into the power supply also if you guys have any more recommendations?
