Hi everyone, I went to see this today http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p

She was looking a little sorry for herself and was filthy with mud up the side of the N/S door and covered in bird s***. All four alloys were unmarked but were bubbling under the surface ( is this normal for Rays?) the interior was ok but needed a really good clean. The four tyres were Federals also.

When asked to see the service history the salesman couldn't find the service book and could only find a receipt for a service from 2008 when the car had done 22k so it's only done 8000 miles in the last three years a bit strange. The garage have it for two months and it was previously in their Stafford Nissan branch were they couldn't shift it

That was enough for me as the salesman didn't really want to know, so I walked away.

Does anyone know this car?

Walking away was the best thing you could do. Any doubts in your mind it always is. There are alot more out there, and if your after a great example, dont be afraid to travel a little. I think it was a little on the steep side too!

Personally, any car that was covered in bird doo's, and hadn't been cleaned, dealership of any description, I'd walk away. Just thinking of the etched paint is like nails down a black board.:scare:
