fusion350z Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 After returning to my partners new clio on saturday night I noticed some kind person had opened their car door on to it. Luckily no paint damage but a small dent. Has anyone used any of the franchised companies you see advertised or even better know of anyone in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area you could reccomend. Many thanks Quote
captint Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I think the forum gets a deal with Dent Tec, check out the home page Quote

M13KYF Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Denttec are excellent. Used them myself, twice . The only thing is he's based up in warrington so bit of a travel. Your looking at £60 to fix the dent with forum discount. Quote

Beavis Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I used dentdevils when some twerp put a slight dent in my door But they did a superb job, never would have guessed that a dent had ever been there, check their website for local franchise. Quote
Liam's Z Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I'll be making comment tomorrow as to how good Dent tec are Quote
Zedman Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Can any of these companies do very small dents? I have one that you can only see looking along the line of the door - but it really annoys me!! When I had Chipsaway to do an alloy wheel repair and some chips, they said the chips were not deep enough to do!!!!! Did a good job on the wheel though. Wondered whether this would be the case with a dent. Quote
M13KYF Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 do you mean the horizontal crease along the door, then yes. Had two at this place myself. Both caused by some tw@t opening there door and my car being in the way. Quote

It was done by a mate at the weekend btw, opening his door onto mine...............well he was a mate!!!!!!!!!!! Quote

Digsy Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 I'd second Mike's opinion on Dent-tec. Did a great job on mine - very quick, painless and relatively cheap. Nice guy too! Quote
