Jed Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 as per my other thread, ive changed the bonnet today and since doing that and i had to also re-route the battery pos terminal cos one of the vents was catching it. When i now set the alarm it goes off after a few seconds/ now, is this because the bonnet isnt fastened/locked down or have i done something by undoing the + terminal? help appreciated n thanx! Quote
marzman Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 There is a switch under the bonnet that is pressed down when the bonnet is closed... is that not pressed down anymore? (May be aftermarket alarms only, my last zed had it). Quote
Beavis Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Bonnet switch is standard on UK cars from the front it is on the left hand side by the resevoir bottles, rubber plunger type. Not sure if its the same for a JDM. Quote
