You engine will deliver it's maximum power is a particular rev range which I think is about 6,500 but I'm sure a more knowledable person will be along shortly to correct that number. Since the gearing is shorter you will have the most torque in 1st. I suggest not driving at 60mph in 1st gear on the redline. Not big and it's not clever! Stew Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 I'm sure you can find a power and torque curve for the 313 so you can have a look at where peak performance is and where it drops off. I think the HR might still be limited in low gears but can't confirm. Abeey might confirm though! An UpRev would sort that out though.
