How stupid of me!

I managed to leave the battery cover on the plenum and then shut my bonnet.

 

This has resulted in what I believe to be a bent hinge on the drivers side as the bonnet will not now open without some serious effort and appears to have dropped a little below its normal postion when closed.

 

I have had a look and it seems as though I will have to get the wing removed in order to repair - has anyone done this or had this done and can supply some information or help to give a clue on what I need to do.
