DOOR HANDLES! ...RANDOM

I'm noticing while looking around at Z's, that some have the silver door pull inside, and some have nothing...just the very low.."arm rest" like effort. Anyone know when the door handles were added on as an update?? Also any updates that were major to the interior or equipment I should be lookin' out for when buyin a Z?

passenger side is different to drivers side, same on all Zeds

yeah noticed the drivers has that wee stumpy bit. I've test drove a 350Z, for a lengthly time out a nissan dealer before... how the hell did i miss it only has one door handle? pml!
