Help if possible - Sensor problem / Limp mode

Hi all,

 

i recently posted about an issue after a wet day in which i had the CEL light up and the car randomly starting in limp mode (or not at all)

 

Having used the pedal trick to get the error code as suspected it was the MAF sensor so I went about changing this, alex having provided me with a new one to swap over which I did immediately assuming I accidently got the other one a little bit wet.

 

Long story short, even with the new MAF sensor I still have the same intermittent fault, where the car will be ok for a few days but then only start in Limp mode until I do a ECU reset and remove the sensor only to put it back again to fix the issue.

 

I have checked the cable/connector thoroughly, there is no chafing, nothing loose all seems perfect. The error code comes up everytime as P103 - Maf sensor until i reset it.

 

I wondered if anyone has come across anything similar, or could suggest anything i may of missed while going over this?

Can anyone suggest a good specialist in the South East that may be able to shed light on this? I am loathe to put this into Nissan while the fault is intermittent only to have them charge me £150 to give me the error code and tell me they have reset it achieving absolutley zero.
