The engine Rebuild was done by a Company down in Hythe called Japcar, He specialises in Japanese car's.

Went in because the bottom end started knocking,

As far as i'm aware (Have to phone my old man for specific details as i'm listing it on behalf of him)

It has New CrankShaft, New High Performance Bearings throughout the engine, New Conrods, New Pistons, HKS Head Gasket, HKS Uprated Oil Pump, New Valve's, New Valve Springs, New cam shafts, All the gasket's and Oil seals throughout the engine were also replaced, So it's essentially brand new, It's not been rebuilt for mega power as my old man isn't interested in performance so much However anything that the Mechanic recommended to be changed or uprated has been done regardless of cost

And when that was oil done all the General replacements were done such as Water Pump, HKS Reinforced Timing Belt, New tensioners.

Then about 4months after the engine rebuild it started making and alarming rattling kind of noise, Took it back to the same garage thinking it was something up with the engine, But turned out one of the turbo's was gone, So i had both replaced with Refurbished Garret turbo's, These are Standard size.

Hopefully that's enough detail.

When it was first imported in 2005 (January) it had done 51,884 Miles

For it's 2006 MOT (February 1st) it had recorded 59,423 Miles

For it's 2007 MOT (March 13th) it had recorded 63,857 Miles

For it's 2008 MOT (May 2nd) it had recorded 66,988 Miles

Then the engine Rebuild was done in August 2008

And For it's 2009 MOT (May 8th) it has recorded 68,455 Miles

The car is now on 68,700 Miles and unlikely to have anymore put on it, So since the engine rebuild it's done around 1500miles Maximum.

jeeze louise didnt realise the old skylines were this much spondoolies!

You very rarely see them about i must admit but i wouldnt have thought when you do that they are a £10k car. (Not saying yours is overpriced, just my general lack of knowledge on them)

That's ok mate,

You can get these for around £7000-£8000 sometimes even cheaper I know

But when the engine goes pop and a pretty basic Rebuild cost's £3000...

r33 gtr's seem to be priced over such a wide range anything from £5000 for a right dog up to some I've seen go for nearly £30,000, I asked around quite abit for a price went I put the car up for sale and import garage's said they would put a Forecourt price of £11,995 on the car as it is.

It's just waiting for the right buyer really, But I know it's going to be hard as most people would save £3000 and go for a cheaper one, Especially in the current time's.
