Help!!

[Guest H5 take 2]

When I try and log on with my proper (H5) user name and password I'm being told that my username isn't valid or password is incorrect. I KNOW my password is correct. Anyone help??

You should

a) clean your cache out (temporary internet files with 350z-uuk.com in name to be specific)

alternatively apply for a forgotten password, log back in and reset

Yes, that's what I had to do on one occasion.

 

Quite honestly b ) might be an easier option provided that the e-mail you specifiy is the one you registered with - it won't accept any other

Hi - just to let you know I have reset the password on this account for you now - Dont know what the problem was as everything looked ok.

 

Check your PM's in H5 take two and hopefuly it will work. If it does, let us know and we can remove the extra account created.

it wasn't a guest. It was a new account that H5 set up because his original account stopped working. H5 then got his original one working and Chris deleted H5 take two. Hence the reason why it shows up as guest now

yeah permissions were ok... just didn't realise that once an account is deleted and the user has posted, it then reverts to "guest" but keeps the nickname on the posts
