Window Seals broken

I picked up my 350z 3 weeks ago and 2 days after I went to get my phone out and when I shut the door the Plastic window seal popped off and came away from the door. From what I can see the clip is very small and breaks easily. Garage is saying its not covered by warranty Just wondered if any1 else had a similar problem and how they got it fixed without paying £250 for a replacement part or a tube of super glue,lol

Hmmm you are not alone - someone else who came to ISTS had the same problem - memory fails me who tho. Think they had gaffa taped it down temporaryly.

 

If its a failed component surely its covered under the warranty? id read the small print....

 

IIRC the trim looks like an arse to change. You may find superglue/epoxy resin wont bond it if its under some strain, unless you could fabricate some sort of repair to the bracket using meccano
