I park as far away from anywhere as possible. Have picked up a couple dings but im sure a lot less than it would have if I parked where the missus wanted me too. Im sure we would all park as far away from the entrance to our local supermarket if we didnt have the missus nagging and asking why we do it every time lol

Spotted another Gunmetal 350z chasing a Yellow Seat Leon Fri about 5pm on the A36 heading East.

Spotted a GM 350z on Park Road in Cowes drive past me Thursday night.

I want the new car feeling again, any1 want to swap colours for the weekend? haha. Actually I dont think I could trust any1 else in my Zed. Have a good weekend buddy, and make sure you stop off and take lots of photos of the car on the way home.

I got quite a few flashes from speed cameras and never heard a thing. Think its down to the amount of paper work they have to do so they dont bother. Dont quote me on that though if you get a speeding ticket in the post, so dont go breaking the law,lol.

I used to do this trip quite often when I lived in Italy and Slovenia. My only advice is keep to the speed and distance limits in the Mont Blanc tunnel as they are very strick in there after the fire. Otherwise have fun and stretch the zeds legs a bit P.S. Try and spend more time in Italy than Germany, if you can.

I have noticed when I open the door and the engine is running there is a lot of heat coming from under the car, although engine is running at normal temps. The cabin also gets hot very quickly and air-con is needed most trips. Is this normal?? Thanks

Mine does the same thing, but when I turn it on I have to turn the sound down and hold the tape or the music comes on really loud. I also have to move the tape around to adjust the quality> Any1 else have this problem?

Ahh thats bad luck mate, I have heard romours that the 350 exhausts have a tendancy of rotting. Might have to have a look under mine at some point. Can any1 give me an idea of prices for nismo exhausts and if there are any cheap places in the states to get them? I work for a shipping company so could get it thrown on a ship coming over, although i might have to wait a bit longer incase they go to West Africa first,lol. Rich

I have a 2007 350z with built in sat nav and wondered if you can update the software to include speed camera positions. Rich

Dammit. Wish the UK models would of included some of these options. The dipping of the mirrors when reversing is a great idea.

Not seen your GT4 about yet. Do you live in the Cowes area? Yeah I know, they have all that money to spend on the roads over the next few years and they just put this cheap top layer down. We have seen that they are able to do a good job when they want to (Rolls Hill / Thorness) but just wont spend the money as they are too concerned with lining their own pockets. Took it for a blat the other weekend with my mates and we managed to find a few nice roads to open the 350z's legs.

All so true, we could of all bought 400bhp scoobies for £4k plus money left over for some nice chavy baseball caps, We just have good taste and enjoy a proper drivers car. Especially when the roads get twisty and without having to break the law

Yeah the Caterham is amazing and just like a go-kart/race car. Especially with the areo screen. The photo doesnt show the black parts of the wheels on the RX8 which make it look better close up.

Its my Bro's RX8. When he showed me them on the website I wasn't keen, but now they are on they make the car look that bit more aggressive and not like all the other cars that are driven about by older women, lol. He also has a Prodrive exhaust on it which makes it sound how it should standard. More than anything its a compromise so he can have his own car that is a bit sporty and he can still take the family out in. Haha Rich

My last choice would be the Cupra R. Its quick but has no appeal. Its been re-mapped and when he put his foot down must admit it did pull away quickly, but to much power for FWD. The Zed is def my fav, but have to give it to the RX8. Its a great car to drive and can fit 4 adults. I must admit the car that left everyone with a smile on their face after a ride was the Caterham. What an awesome car. Kind of looses out to the Zed on practicality though. Rich

Nope, I have a Gunmetal 07. I see that one most days on my way to and from work though. There is also a Azure Coupe which my boss owns,lol.

I took the 350z for its first proper drive the other day and it made me love it even more. Met up with some friends in their cars early Sunday morning and went around some of the Isle of Wights best roads. As you can see from the pics was a nice day and the 350z looks good next to the other cars. Will get some better quality pics up soon. Rich
