KurtB Posted March 27, 2010 Share Posted March 27, 2010 Hi people, For my sob story - was driving along a motorway couple of days back and there had been an accident (authorities were there and traffic was still moving). Was doing about 40mph when some debris flew up and damaged the lower part of my driver door (on the line where the door shape creases inwards. Left a scratch about 5cm long about 3mm wide down to the metal. I have ordered some touch up paint to first see if I can tidy it up before considering getting it done professionally. Hoping it wont be very noticable after touching up as it is below that line of the door. Just worried about corrosion-what material are the doors?
