Sign in timing out very quickly??

Not sure what's happening, but I've been typing a couple of posts and when submitting being taken straight to the login page, and having to re-write the post again. If it's only a few words or I type like mad I can get it done. Is there something wrong??

me too - mine hasn't timed out yet.. been on an hour and only posted / read a few times..

All appears correct - there are no known issues at the moment. Certainly seems like some sort of local error.

I get the same problem on another car forum.

 

The login does not time out if I'm browsing the forum but does time out if I'm composing a post as I'm doing here. I'm then in the same situation of having to rewrite it and usually forget something that I remembered before. Reeeaally annoying.

 

A workaround, but not a very convenient one, is to either compose a long reply using a another text editor like Notepad then copy/paste from there or like I'll do here: to copy the text top the clipboard before I submit the post "just in case".

perhaps it is some issue with the php script and the security settings of the browser?

Can't get the login to time out after 20 mins so presumably not the same problem as I've had elsewhere.

Found out we were being routed through the US server today rather than the UK ones. Probably something to do with chat rooms our summat.
