greido Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 I've just checked my oil level and it could do with a top up, the oil in the car is Silkolene Pro S; I think this is a 5w/40 oil. Instead of heading out and buying some of this, could there be an issue if I top it up with Mobil 1 which is w/40? - I've got a fair bit Mobile 1 in my garage and it seems a bit of a waste of cash not to use it.
