Bluffy Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Took the front nissan badge off and replaced it with the Z badge from Funkystyling. It was fairly easy to get the badge itself off, but the glue itself... my god what a pain in the @ss. Shall put a pic on 2mora after its nice a clean. Not sure if i am going to bother with the rear one. What is behind the rear Nissan Badge? are there any holes or is it just smooth paintwork? Quote
Derek_ZR Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Smooth on the back for the roadster and two small holes i believe for the coupe. I got both badges from Chris (funkystyling) and they look great. I would do the back one as well Quote
Jacko Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Yeah definitely two little holes on the rear for the coupe...... I found that the rear was slightly easier due to not being recessed. Quick tip.... once you get down the end of the glue residue. Then use a good quality pencil eraser to just rub off the residue...... works a charm! Quote
Bluffy Posted July 5, 2006 Author Posted July 5, 2006 With the front badge being in a recess, it was extremely easy to fit, no worries of not getting it straight. However not got this on the back, so slightly worried of fking it up and ending up with the badge not in the centre/not straight. Quote

Well you can definitely work out that its in the middle from the holes etc.... you should be ok. You only have to worry about putting it on straight. Just lock your hands Quote

Just stick a little bit of masking tape at along the straight bits of the nissan burger, then when you align the new one, it just needs to sit between the tape Andy Quote
