i was wondering how do people upgrade their sounds (e.g. adding a sub) in a roadster zed

My recommendation would be a good 8" sub behind one of the seats.

right i see. so i take it you could have 2 8 inch subs behind the seat?

One behind each seat, yep. Just choose the sub and amp carefully as using both sides with subs you'll reduce space for mounting the amp AND need a bigger one to power two subs.
