Problems!!!

 

Scenario is in any gear I go for acceleration, she revs up a few thousand then all of a sudden picks power. Kind of like dipping the clutch whilst giving her beans. All good fun but slightly embarrassing when I look like a boy racer revving the stonks off zelda.

 

So what is it???

Slipping clutch???

Gearbox???

Service???

 

Getting her in this week so see what the mechanic says, but for people out there who have had the clutch replaced does this sound like your diagnosis???

slipping clutch. With spark plugs they are more likely to fail under load at the start rather than later on in the acceleration IMO

 

or....a flip flop trapped under the accelerator pedal

Tbh I think it's the clutch although she engages perfectly... Believe I need to speak with zedmanalex, anybody have his number???
