Connecting the Nissan ariel to an Alpine

Hi guys, one more question for the ice team!

 

My Alpine unit is all up and running but the Nissan (male) ariel connector is too fat to connect with the Alpine (female) ariel connector. I bought one of these;

but this is the same size as the Nissan connector and still will not fit the Alpine (female) connector. Any ideas on what I need to enjoy the old wireless?

Hi Matt,

What Alpine unit have you got?

I fitted an XDA 305 and the aerial plug lead went straight into the back of the Alpine

Hey Chris,

 

If you could mate that would be cool. I bought this one but it was the same size as the Nissan one and wouldn't fit inside the Alpine female socket.

 

Now you know me, I reached for the mole grips and tried to modify it to fit. It's broke now
