LewisL
Hello, If i were to buy a key off ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNCUT-NISSAN-X-TR ... 240%3A1318 or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-2-button-r ... 240%3A1318 can that be re-programmed to my car? I have a blade cut to my locks already & i have tried coding a key before but it didnt work it has the same code on the back of the key as my original key. I took it to a friend @ nissan who tried to do it as well but couldnt get it to work(apprentice) he asked the parts people who said apprently i have to buy a hole complete key from nissan as they can only be programmed once. Is this correct!? or is there a way to re-programme a 2nd hand key!? Thanks,

LewisL
anybody know if you can re-programme a 2nd hand key then or not!?
neodc
you can program the new key to open your car doors, but will need to go to Nissan so its second transponder to talk to the imboilser so actually start the car, otherwise it'll just turn over and not fire up. nissan will probally charge 60 quid for that, i've just had it done on my xtrail with a key brought off ebay. dave
