key cutting and programming

Hi all,

I'm After some help, i need to have a new key for my car, i have come across a seller on e-bay selling the blade and remote control-unprogrammed, he reckons i can get it cut and re-programmed for around £60.00 quid.

My question is can i re-programme the key fob myself or do i have to go through the main dealer.

Looks like you dont need to use Nissan to get it cut.
