larsdowg Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I'll give you a winter prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life. (Bill Murray - Ground Hog Day) ...............but at least I have heated seats!!! Its getting cold now, but the ZED warned me it was ICY, and the temp and heated my buttocks on the way to work......... I love this car!!! Quote
SunsetZed Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 The heated seats were massively appreciated this morning, the rear wheels slid quite well, especially on a roundabout, sideways! Quote
smartmove Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Yep, seat warmer was on this morning and by the time I got to my destination I was very snug in the car! Quote
ARphotographs Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 pfft i've kept commuting on the bike, hate trains and can't park the car in town for free. (also adds extra 30minutes) i put my base layers from snowboarding on and im snug as a bug! Quote
Chris`I Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Yup, god love the heated seats. Just need a heated body so that I can start it and let it defrost itself! Had 3" of snow on it this morning! -1C on the clock and intake temps of 1C! Brrrrr. Didnt appreciate going sideways down a straight bit of dual caridgeway. Was only doing 10MPH so was ok with a bit of opposite lock Quote
Murdoch Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Only thing missing is a heated front screen... otherthan that, sitting in side with the heated seats watching the ice melt off is a nice way to spend 5 mins whilst listening to some tunes! Oh and the sideways action can not be missed, although trying to get the power down against a front wheel civic was a little tough, correction here, there here and finally passed him lol Bring on the Snow... should arrive her in Norfolk by March lol Quote
dwj100uni Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 Remote start baby!! Set the car to full heat and directed at the windscreen, heated seats on. 10 minutes before getting in, press my buttons and off she goes! Getting into a warm car with warm seats FTW! Quote
Macdaddy Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Heated seats are a must when you have full leather. Altho i've even used them when i've hurt my back too, Its like using a heat bad... great ! (i was driving for a reason not just sat in the car cos i had a sore back for the record) Quote
SunsetZed Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 I think a petition is needed because correct me if I'm wrong but heated front windscreens are only available on Fords because they've patented the technology, I'm not a fan of that at all! Quote
