350srl Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Hi All, Just a quick query - was the NISMO exhaust a factory fit option in Japan ? I have a fairlady Z with Nismo suspension and exhaust, but am trying to work out what to record on the insurance. I was told they were factory options, but I'm not so sure. The suspension was recorded on the insurance FOC, but the exhaust will cost me about £40 extra. Anyone know. Cheers Simon Quote

Thjere is no power gain and it is factory fitted. £40 seems cheap but I dont see why there should be any increase at all. Norwich union accepted mine with no increase. Then again, its never a level playing field, if there are reasons to stay with the company then its not a lot. Quote

I've looked at the current adverts and the Nismo appears to provide a small BHP increase, but that's not really the issue. If it's a factory fit option, I don't have to worry about the insurance extra as it is covered. If it wasn't an option, I need to get it covered. Cheers Quote
