350matty Posted May 16, 2008 Share Posted May 16, 2008 When i got my Z it didnt come with a spare key. Garage who sold me the car said it wouldnt be expensive at all. Then went into nissan and got a quote think i recall it was around the £160-£180 Mark!!!! Said No and put it off for a year. Lost my key didnt i so @*!# myself but after a whole day of looking was layed outside in the garden. Fort to myself i should get a spare key. Searched on ebay and they selling the base and blade. They are going for less than £10! Got mine the other week and just got it cut from the local key cutters. Some dont cut this type of blade cos they machines are old. In total cost me £7 for key and cutting was free cos knew the fella they. So, guess ive saved loads of money there!!!! Just need to program it to my car. Does anyone know how to do this????
