Oliver Smith Posted Tuesday at 22:04 Posted Tuesday at 22:04 My Zed has recently started making some absolute terrible noises when coming to a stop and turning. I believe it’s coming from the front of the car, specifically the drivers side. I haven’t noticed any actual issues in terms of driving feel and performance. Just seems to be a sound at the moment but can’t imagine it’ll stay that way much longer. Spent the day today inspecting the front of the car and there’s not anything terribly obvious other than some bushings on the lower control arms and banana arms being in tatters. So I am hoping these are the cause of the issue/noise, but wanted a second opinion from others more knowledgeable than myself. I am going to attach a link to a YouTube video of the noise and some pictures of the bushings from both sides I’ve taken today. Hopefully these help. Quote
MDMetal Posted yesterday at 08:19 Posted yesterday at 08:19 yup those are gone 😛 I'm replacing mine atm, total front and rear refresh with rust proofing with the bits off. Should feel good as new and keep the chasis happy for another 20 years or so. Quote

I'm still replacing them heh, but I had done the bannana arms and drop links previously. It's pretty likely to be suspension related, bits that don't move shouldn't make noise. (Neither should the bits that move but obviously they will as they age) Quote
