Seeing people suggest putting other parties on the insurance to bring the premium down, surely the problem with that is if you crash the other party also has an accident registered against them too!? Even if it doesn't affect their no claims, any accident will increase their premium surely???

No, the accident goes against an individual driver, but will affect the policyholder's no claims. ;)

You can protect the policy holders no claims, usually this option costs about 10 - 50£ - I pay about 300 i think to protect my dads no claims, because he wouldnt have me on the policy without it (quite right i would say :p haha)
