Randy_Baton Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Car started whirring when turning the wheel so toped up the power steering. Its now not whirring but pouring out fluid when i drive.... Got the car up on the curb and some 2x4's for a quick check and didn't want to start turning the wheel whilst i was under it. So i don't know exactly where its pumping out. The parts above the hard piping look dry so I think its probably the manifold where the soft tubing connected to the hard tubing that runs along the bottom of the car. the part in red in the diagram, or the part where it goes into the power steering rack. Sorry about the state of the videos i had very limited space. What are peoples thoughts? (other than get to a garage) I won't be driving it other than to get to a garage. Quote
Randy_Baton Posted November 1 Author Posted November 1 Found the leak its the top hard line running from the pump to the power steering rack. Can anybody point me in the direction of replacement parts? Also what is the bit dangling down to the right of the first image. Its completely free to swing around, looks like it should be screwed in somewhere... Quote
