I’m super confused, Does anyone know if the 2002 350Z is ulez compliant?

So i’m looking at a original 2002 350Z which was imported from Japan, everywhere online says that 2003 and above is ulez compliant, from my knowledge, this 2003 350Z is the same model as the 2002 one.

 

Does this mean i can take it to a nissan garage and get it ulez certified?

 

Any advice would be appreciated!

I think all you need is a Certificate of Conformity, but it might be a pain to get from Nissan. There's a few old threads about this, this one might help a bit. There's a few more if you search ulez.
