sat nav volume

service department fitted sat to z friday, volume set to lowest but still realy loud, changed unit for new one , still same. have gone into setings and volume adjusted to lowest . this is a remote style sat nav for mk1 z. any ideas appreaciated. thanks.

If you are fitting the full Nissan Sat Nav then the problem is actually the audio system settings and are basically the traffic news settings, if this is a standard bose then the ideal settings can be achived in the same manner as setting for Traffic bulletin settigns, however if the unit is an aftermarket then the host unit will need to be configured manually.

 

I can check later today if there are specific other areas but as far as i kow that is the only conduit of volume when connected into the audio unit.
