Hi all,

 

I cleaned my car properly at the weekend the first time since owning it.

 

I did the following steps:

 

- rinse with pressure washer

- spray on citrus pre wash and allow to soak for a few mins

- rinse

- clean wheels using autoglym wheel cleaner and brush

- rinse wheels 

- apply pH neutral car shampoo (dodo juice) by hand using two bucket method and lambswool mitt

- rinse

- spray autoglym magma (iron fallout remover) on wheels and bodywork

- rinse (again!)

- Dry using car towel

- use autoglym clay and rapid detailer as lube on bodywork panels, wiping afterwards with microfiber cloth

- apply autoglym uhd wax

 

It took approx 4 hours in total (actually longer with breaks but 4 hours actual work). Pic added below of the finished article (plus some pics of the wheels before and after and a pic of the iron remover doing it's thing!) a:thumbs:
