SBSS8) Posted January 6, 2019 Posted January 6, 2019 I had a similar experience today, just crusing along on a duel carageway and noticed that the oil temperature was high so I started to coast, but the temperature kept going up, I pulled over when i could then the gauge started going up and down, dropping from 130ish to 110ish. car didn’t appear to be hot, turned it off had a look under the bonnet and couldn’t see anything and couldn’t smell anything. Re started the car and the gauge was still reading higher than normal and going up and down, got to the shops, parked up for maybe an hour now it seems fine sitting normally. Have you had the problem again? Quote
