I have a JDM Momo steering wheel and my clock spring broke so i needed a new one. When i took the steering wheel off i had one airbag wire on the click spring. But looking online most people seem to have 2 wires.

Having searched Google and Ebay etc. it appears that some 350s have 1 wire and others have 2 wires.

Does anybody know the reason for this..?!

And can you simply swap between 1 and 2 wired clock springs?

I want to take off my Momo wheel to sell and put a stock wheel back on, but doesnt the stock wheel have 2 wires?? So would i need a different clock spring with 2 wires??

Any help regarding the reasons for this not being standardised would be great!

I have put the two pics below (mine first then what appears to be more the norm).
