The Trouser Posted May 21, 2018 Posted May 21, 2018 Driving home tonight I heard a noise from the rear which sounded like a branch or something similar caught on the underside. Once I parked up I found this bit was hanging loose on the underside in front of the passenger side rear wheel arch. The attached image shows the 'bit' in a top down view; it seems to consist of a sturdy platic strap which was attached at 90 degrees to the bodywork just in front of the rear wheel arch at the point highlighted by the red box. It was formerly attached to the underside somewhere by the two corroded metal lugs bolted into the strap. Does anyone know what this is? And is it important? TIA, TT Quote

The Trouser Posted May 21, 2018 Author Posted May 21, 2018 (edited) I don't think its that - but thanks to your excellent link I've had a rummage around some diagrams and I think its part of this (76857N): Anyone know what it does? And is it important? TIA, TT Edited May 21, 2018 by The Trouser Quote
