Argyll Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 due to me being a dozy T**t I've taken of the four bolts holding the caliper together rather than the two bolts holding it on! I didn't realise until some brake fluid started leaking as I loosened the last bolt. What action should I take? is it just a matter of bleeding that one caliper or should I do more/ Also what brake fluid should I use dot 4 or 5.1. Thanks in advance for any replies. Quote

Just tighten up the bolts and rebleed the brakes with dot4 Quote

lomoto Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 thanks dude for the quick reply. Do I just bleed the one side? one side will be sufficient unless you want to go the whole hog and replace all the fluid ? then I should do the rears as well Quote
