keithm Posted August 16, 2017 Share Posted August 16, 2017 Hi Guys, 370Z/2011 I'm after a second opinion on a noise which the local garage want to charge me £1,200 for. When moving at any speed, I press the accelerator pedal lightly and hear a clicking noise outside the car. When I lift off the pedal, I hear the same noise for a second. Doesn't do it stationary. Hard to pin point the problem when driving with the windows open. However the garage said its the handbrake on the rear wheels, so they've taken them and rear brakes off, cleaned and greased them and still a problem (other than they now squeak!) They said the problem is with the Outer CV Joints, which from Nissan plus labour looking at quite a lot of cash!
