Hi

 

My Zed has an aftermarket double DIN unit and hands free installed.

 

I don't mind the unit with the GT but wondered if the Sat Nav plug in you can still get.

 

Who would know ?

What are you asking with this question?

Are you asking if Nissan OEM SatNav will be compatible or if Pioneer uses their own SatNav Plug-in for the HU mentioned or if Pioneers own seperate SatNav module will plug into the HU?

Sorry the Pioneer unit has a plug in sat nav unit and if I can get a unit compatible now that would work.

Yes I looked on Pioneer website but looks like they expect suppliers to answer stuff like that. Unit is over 4 years old.

So my choices are buy the dingle thingy get it fitted or link to my phone using BT with Google directions.

I think I'll investigate what level of coverage the dongle SIM has.

I also quite like speed alerts to remind me where there are accident blackspots like tom tom provides.

If I was you, i would just get a headunit that hs AppRadio and is able to mirror your mobile phone screen.

Less hassle and saves you trying to make something work that might not in the end

That is what I was looking to do, I've been looking at the PIONEER-AVH-X2800BT but its close to £300 on ebay.

 

Do you have a model in mind?

Have a think on what you expect from the headunit to do and hunt accordingly.

Personally I had a Pioneer SPH-DA120 in mine, because I have iPhone and the HU had CarPlay and worked for my needs
