Which shocks?

I can't tell you which is the best because i can only comment on personal experience i.e. my car.

I have Tein Flex with EDFC fitted and the SuperPro eccentric bush set. Currently my rear subframe, diff and steering rack bushes are stock.

The difference from standard is very noticeable, to be blunt it has become a completely different car and i wouldn't go back. Fitting new shocks or in my case coil overs is a reasonably bolt on job however changing the bushes is massively labour intensive. Fortunately I was able to do a deal for suspension with the bushes already fitted.

If you are lowering bear in mind you will require additional parts to bring the rear back into alignment. In my case I also needed the rear arches rolled.

It may be cost effective to considering changing only some bushes. The compression rod bushes aka the banana arm on the front suspension are notorious for failing. They are worth replacing and I would go straight for poly bushes. SuperPro do an eccentric bush that will provide more caster. Horsham Developments did mine to great effect.

I hope that is some help. Im sure someone in a better position to offer advice will be along shortly.
