Rear wiper delete stuck arm

Hey all currently performing the rear wiper delete as per the guidelines on this forum. I have successfully removed the wiper cover and nut. But the arm will not come off at all

 

Any advice on what I should do

just be patient and give it a wiggle mine was the same and then it came free also a spray of wd on it wouldn't harm

Managed to get it off.

 

In terms of sealent is this necessary with the 25mm grommet. If so how much should be applied
