Some key points:

 

1) CCTV, which is supposed to be there for our safety, can now be used to issue parking tickets!

 

2) You can get a ticket even if the parking warden doesn't put a ticket on your car - e.g. if they see you "stopped" and then you "drive off" - you're getting a ticket! So they can sit in Cost Coffee and dish them out all day!

 

3) There are different levels of fines, starting from "parking near a dropped kerb or too far from the kerb", up to the serious one of parking on double yellow (that last one will screw up the selfish folk who park outside KFC in Staines blocking the road!)
