  1. price dropped to £10500 as wedding's getting closer...
  2. saw this in the flesh at the weekend and looks really nice actually, I'm very tempted myself but have to sell the supe first...the car market's not great at the moment:(
  3. I'm happy to hold out for the price, the fact I've put it up for sale has settled her worries. I'm getting happier driving it now as put the worries behind me and it's getting sunnier There are a lot of cheap supras going now a days, but not many like this, they either have too many mods, too high mileage, or are 2 a penny, i.e. black or silver. Thanks for the comments guys
  4. Hi Ozz, yes it is mate. I'm actually going to have to downgrade to an MR2 or an aerotop NA I think until the wedding's out the way, then pile some money back into cars and get a 350z. I've test driven one and yes the power wasn't as good, missed the turbo pull/hit, but it's a damn nice car and I need something a little less aggressive really. The mkiv forum's fine, you just have to ignore half the dribble that's now being posted...
  5. It’s a 1996 Facelift extremely rare Original Toyota Green (not black, red or silver) TT!!! I know of only one other green TT in the UK, but it’s not a facelift. This car was September on the MkivSupra.net club’s 2006 calendar. 47k mile Jspec 2JZ-GTE with UK twin turbos - just fitted by ToyotaGT. I’ve done just under a thousand miles since I’ve had it back. I have the receipts for fitting and also the last 2 MOTs showing the mileage of this engine. I replaced the engine due to my old turbos blowing up on me damaging the engine. Cambelt was changed on this engine 5k miles ago, along with the cam seal. The mileage on the car is currently 110k miles, however as stated above the engine and turbos are less than half that. I have the service book with the previous stamps in it from import in 2000, plus all the receipts since I’ve had it. Apexi Induction kit, HKS Turbo Timer, HKS EBC, Miami GT side mounted intercooler Fuel pump upgrade, FCD fitted, HKS Steel hoses, Speed limiter removed, NGK plugs Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust, HKS midpipes, Full Decat (Great sound!!!) Torsen LSD Blistein suspension, lowered, Racing Hart 19" CRs (with one spare front) – extremely rare, no longer made, worth £2k+ alone, just fitted brand new centre hubs Eagle F1's all round (+rears brand new just fitted last weekend at £300 cost) Bigger and better UK Brakes all round, Red Dot 5.1 fluid, CW fast road pads, Goodridge braided brakelines all round Custom Green/Black Leather Seats and armrests with Silver piping/Supra logos in headrests Rear seats re-trimmed in black leather OEM Chrome dash rings and some dash bling DVD Alpine Screen with DVD Sat Nav and remote (cost £1500 when new) with TV Tuner Pioneer Chrome Amps x2, Pioneer Subwoofer (v loud) within custom boot build including green neon when stereo is on Infinity speakers all round in front and back with tweeters built into the door cards Snooper S6Neo with fixed camera and mobile camera detection (GPS tracked via 4 satellites) Original OEM Toyota Supra Mats in black Loads of engine bling, Strut bar, Red piping set HID low beams 6000k, White 6 LED sidelights Original OEM Side skirts and spats (not fibreglass replicas) UK glass headlights Green undercar neons with remote control Liquidart Toyota badges with devil horns, and liquid art Supra badge on boot This has the usual stonechips on the front bumper (which would benefit from a respray), and a few nicks on the alloys. Proof of valid insurance required to drive BPU Supras, otherwise I’ll be driving. 12 months MOT Tax until end October The price reflects the rarity of this colour, the work that’s gone into it, but also the fact the engine has under 50k miles on it!!!!! Downgrading car due to costs of replacing the engine, as I’m getting married this year and can’t afford to pay out what I did at this expensive time of life. Pictures on my sig below £10,995 ono
  6. Looks like I'm going now, we've got 130 supras going We're leaving Reading at 7am from the Reading Jap Meet site as apparently gets busy early. Should have a convoy of about 30 going from Reading but joining up with loads of other supra convoys coming from round the south. Will certainly be popping over to your stand at some stage....
  7. Anyone used or heard of these guys before? http://www.japperformanceuk.co.uk/
  8. Bloody wet, still drying out Good turn out across the clubs though despite that. Was good to meet some of you and get a bit clearer on what I may be after
  9. looks nice, what's the spec inside, i.e. leather, manual? Tiptronic? Sat Nav? Bose etc.? Any interior pics? When was it registered, therefore what's the road tax? Jurgen does nice motors, and it looks a nice example Where are you based?
  10. Did think you looked a little cold....tip for the next couple of months...two pairs of socks, works a treat as they're the first thing to get cold
  11. Hi guys, can someone photoshop this into a gunmetal colour for me? Many thanks
  12. Hi guys, I'll be sure to say hi and ask loads of questions;) Would be good to see a load of Z's to get an idea of things:) Spoke to 3FiddyZ (I think going from his comments above about going in a suit:D)a couple of months back, I was with the guy in the black supra as mine was in the garage after spinning it.... It actually starts at 6:30pm but doesn't tend to get busier until a little later, but weather doesn't look great...
  13. How do you guys get the banners to show at the bottom of your signature by the way?
  14. probably not, I don't compete anymore (too many injuries gained) and the Sombo stuff was purely for knowledge building, I try to stay off the floor now:)
  15. will do, may see you around at a car meet or a martial arts one
  16. Next time you see him (if he's back from the Gulf) tell him Darren Pickard says hi. Good guy, went to Uni with him in the Karate club there, he introuced me to Systema 8yrs ago at Martin Clarke's place. You probably know John Horne, Peter (couple of his guys) and Phil as well then? Thought you badge was a fat up yours finger salute, until I realised what it actually was lol
  17. Good man, noticed your sig, was going to have a chat at Reading meet, but obviously not anymore as you're not going all that way lol! Do you know either Alan Cain or Martin or John Clarke? www.combatsombo.com Did a few summer camps with these boys:scare:, certainly gave me food for thought!!!
  18. Thought you may have been confused.... even more so if you thought I'd let you have them, you can clean them if you like if that makes you happier
  19. Have 19's on mine at the mometn with low profile tyres, the ride on this seemed so much easier....had a little spin in it and it seemed fine, but not having driven one before couldn't really tell. I wasn't giving it loads round corners so not sure how it would've held up,. Looks like it's ok though from the replies. Thanks guys!
  20. Seen a roadster which is quite nice, it has 20 inch wheels on it though, how badly does this affect the handling? I know if these were on the supra it would be like driving on ice, just wondered if anyone's got 20's on their Z?
  21. Yup, around but not always on the 15th. Sometimes footie fixtures get in the way. Meant to be the second Tues of each month I think. See my previous post for the thread which has all the dates Normally the 3rd Tuesday I think...
  22. On one of the stands?! How organised do you think we are? Last time it took us all night to get all the members together and we still didnt manage to all be in a line I was there a couple of months back, we had a nice like of 3/4 Zeds in a row Never been before but my car has been asked to be on one of the stands up there Maybe others are more organised than us. Rob did say it gets a lot bigger in the summer months. You better not be a stand whore, stay loyal to 350z-uk Always am loyal Im hardly gonna represent the dark side... I mean other site Razza if you are selling your car and have a spare set of wheels for it Id be very much interested in your racing harts Wheels will be going with the car I'm afraid, don't have a spare set. As for stands, it's only a carpark Only stands that are there are the the push bikes by McD's Couldn't see a multiquote option, so in answer to the other question it's an RZ-S
  23. Hi guys, thanks for welcome's, to answer a few of those points It's a BPU Twin Turbo with Uk tubbies on it, should be running close to 400BHP, and yes they're 19" Racing Harts I've just put a 47k mile engine in it with the newer turbos as mine blew due to some incorrect plumbing by some numpty (not me). Just working up the balls to stick it back up for sale to recoperate some of the costs that scenario cost me. Would be looking around the £11k mark. If anyone's interested I can get more details. Only issue is it's my only car as the missus doesn't drive so need to sell and find a new one pretty quickly. This is the only Facelift Green TT I know of in the country, and will be gutted to see it go, but need a change, and the 350z is the obvious choice for me. I'll be at the Jap meet, was there the last couple of times with the Mkiv club, spoke to a couple of Z owners a couple of months ago. I'll certainly be sure to pop over and say hi at the next one this month Thanks for the welcome's
