  1. I had a Chimera before my 350z (M3 in between), as much as i love the Zed it doesnt come close to the TVR on raw driving. But is miles ahead on build quality and running costs so i guess the pro's and cons roughly balance

  2. Pioneer AVIC-X1R

As in link, bought this to go in my 350z but then found out that i would loose the use of my built in phone kit if i remove the stereo so dont want to do that!

    Kit includes

-Flip out face off headunit with DVD/CD/MP3 playback

-Hide away master control and sat nav bit

    -6 Disc Pioneer CD changer

    pics of actual unit bellow

    £400

Will consider swapping for 350Z bits ;)

  3. Rite going to be stripping out my headunit and replacing it with a pioneer single din touch screen sat nav

Ive been looking round the ICE part of the forum and was trying to build up a list of things i will need. So far i think i need...

    - Facia adapter, but the few i have found say 2004 onwards (mines a 2003 UK GT)

    - steering wheel controls connection - but unsure where to buy this...

    - Something to go inbetween to keep the Bose amps etc workin.

Is there anything else before i start; also will i loose any functionality by taking the standard stereo out; phone etc....?

    Thanks

    Mat

  4. I would be tempted if you were to sell at the rite time of the month (i.e. after payday!!)

Im happy to wait. Ideally I need to wait for my new exahust to arrive before I can take the Blitz off.

I love the sound of the blitz & if I cant sell it I will happily keep it but just fancy a single (This week anyway  )

Ok mate let me know when you have made your mind up; im only just over the bridge near Bristol so not to far to collect.

  6. Well i reckon i would keep it quite a while and not put many miles on it really as have a 205 diesel i use for work, and use the missus corsa if we go anywhere i dont want to leave the Zed!

I would be taking out the stereo and fitting a touch screen sat nav that i have so could prob do the speakers at the same time. As for the leather, if i keep my eye open on ebay im sure they come up from time to time. So in essence could make it almost GT spec'd over time!

Just got to see if i could possibley shift mine in time i guess!

  7. Hi, i have had my 350Z for a month or so now. I have a 53 GT coupe with all the extras bar sat nav which i love.

But have been offered a low millage 05 roadster for a very good price; but im wondering how much i will miss all the GT extras, such as phone, leather, stereo upgrade, leather etc... and also if there are any other things that will be different such as performace or handling?

The only reason im thinking of changing it as miss not having a rag top as had an M roadster and TVR before this so always been able to drop the top!

  8. Cheers mate, so thats about £528 for the exhaust then, plus shipping and tax from the US. Hmm gonna have a think about this one

I can't be sure which one it is but Rickya above suggested its the more expensive one.

It's not the titanium one and Fujitsubo does not come with the Y pipe that is sold seperately, our own Y pipe is a copy of the Fujitsubo and £130

Ah rite ok mate, so £35o still be a good price if in good condition?
