  1. Gutted. Theres a new scuff on my steering wheel :angry: ... 7 o'clock position (black leather). I think I did it getting into the car with the zip from my jacket! Its only slighty roughed up and under 1cm long. Repair wise - can anyone reccomend a product?

  2. Heard of this before but in German. It's not the blue tooth adapter but the main phone bit which is under the top cubby box behind the driver accessed by lifting the floor of the cubby box. This unit will need replacing by Nissan as it has the wrong one for a UK model. I would insist they do it for nothing.

    I got it from Temple Tuning - despite delay in shipping from Japan post Christmans, it was great service. £125 delivered.

     

    Think it looks deceptivly far back as there is the big gaping hole from the old filter box.

     

    Any tips on next best mod to do? Really want a NISMO exhaust but keen to do something else while I am saving up!

     

    Im in a similar quandry.... Im opting for a plenum spacer till I have enough funds for a Nismo exhaust

  4. Speak with BigPhil... he gets some custom made (stainless finish) for the K&N filters he sells (not Typhoon). Think he should have some for Tuesday/Wednesday IIRC.

     

    You deffo need one. Looks good else. Where did you buy from?

    Quick question... I had a flick through the manual. Came across the instrumentation break down; the rev counter - it says never to take it into the red (6,700RPM>)! So why does the gear change indicator go up to 7,200RPM?

     

    On a swift drive, where do you take the needle too? Configured the change indicator at 6,600 (default), where I catch the change at around 6,700RPM.

     

    Anyone know where the rev limiter comes in? Is it ok to stray into the red?

    Shes certainly a different beast!

     

    It feels well planted, smooth power delivery and oodles of torque (compared to my DC5). Love it, just what I wanted.

     

    Just as I was about to toy with the EDC button, it started to rain. I came back home, stopping at the local Shell... £75.30! Ouch! It wasnt too much of a suprise (must hide fuel receipts from the wife!).

     

    I joined the old style forum years back I believe there was a membership option then :doh:

    After 2 years of finally getting my ass into gear, Im now a proud owner of a 2005 GT Gunmetal/Alezan Zed! :yahoo:

     

    Ive come from a lighty modded Intergra DC5 Type R.

     

    Only picked her up at 5pm this evening. Was so looking forward to that infamous smiley drive home, but the short 5 mile trip home but it was hampered by lots of local traffic :(

     

    Chuffed to bits... Im just waiting for the traffic to die down a bit, and Ill be out on the roads.

     

    Navigating my way round the site, Ive not been able to find a link for the full membership signup .

     

    Is it wrong of me to want to mod it already? Bigphil, Ill be in contact soon I think!

     

    Liking this site... lots of info.
