Does no one know how to copy and paste?
there were people above my post that had opted in, but weren't on the list... I didn't want to just add myself infront of them. that'd be rude
that's my excuse anyway.

if there's still room, then sign me up! (with a +1)
been very lax in getting out and about in the Z recently... and this looks good!
(can you sort us a run up the hill too!? )

still after one of these, if you're able to get 'em...

damn. only just seen this post, and can't do this one (bit late now anyway)...
would love to do it if there's another one though. Did Curborough in an mx5 once, and it was a lot of fun.
I guess it feels a tad small in a Z?

thanks for the recommendation.
Bit of a trek for just regular servicing, but if I'm after anything more involved, will keep it in mind.

Hey all...
not quite sure where to put this, but...
Does anybody have any good recommendations for a specialist in the West Midlands (I'm in Leamington Spa)?
Thanks
Piers.

Hello all...
It's going to be a full-on automotive weekend this one!
Also got on the list early enough for the Pistonheads Sunday Service over at the Morgan factory in Malvern
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=29725
Anybody else from here going to that too?
Good excuse for me to get two days out and about in the Z (for something other than commuting!)
See you all on saturday!

+1 confirmed for me.

anybody know of a UK supplier of these by any chance?
-
like the momo one... presume that's a universal-fit one... did it come with adapters for different threads etc, or just screw straight on?
Just found this which I quite like the look of:

great so far! :-)
Hope the Mini's keeping you entertained.

Oulton park have a wet drift facility you could go along to - not tried it myself but again a few people on here have taken zeds on it. very slippery surface, zero tyre wear (but your car will get filthy)
will have a look for hte rockingham thing...
I've done a drift day at the Oulton facility... in a 200sx with a welded diff... was lots of fun!

Hi all,
So I'm going to be getting the wheel re-trimmed (found via another thread on here) in alcantara & leather, and get a gear gaiter, and hopefully handbrake handle done in alcantara at the same time...
Of course to go the whole hog, a new gearknob is required too...
Anybody know of good suppliers?
who's tried/fitted what to their cars?
got any pics to post up?
is fitment more-or-less universal?
Current favourites (as examples) are...
Porsche GT3 alcantara style
Honda Alu Ball style
-
where did you get this from, out of interest, and did it fit without any issues/modification?
-
Will look into the carlimits days... although I was hoping to find a wet-grip place so that I don't need to buy a spare set of wheels/tyres beforehand...
Just seen the Rockingham give you "free sessions on our wet grip facility" if you do a trackday there.... so that might be a good option?...

Hello all,
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, as it's speculative rather than an actual event, but anyway...
I'd like to do a car control day in my new Z...
Now I've had a bunch of rwd cars before, and am not opposed to a bit of, er, oppo... but the Z is a big old thing, and substantially more powerful than my previous cars, so I want to have a good play somewhere where there's plenty of space to get to know it
Something like this is what I have in mind:
Does anybody know of anywhere that does these sorts of days?
I know there was a Porsche one at silverstone, but in their cars etc...

Another from Leamington to be added to the list! :-)
-
doh.
Is this all fully subscribed now?
Should've checked the forum events page on THE DAY I bought my Z I suppose....
-
anybody have pics of these gaiters (from topgaiters on ebay) ??
I like the look of hte alcantara with grey stitching, gear & handbrake, but would like to see one fitted (and hear if it did fit well etc)...
-
Emailed jack today to get him to do a wheel for me
what spec did you go for?
-
Lovely pictures above as Will mentioned ~ where are you located btw?
Thanks! Midlands based... pics taken just up the road from Banbury.
RE Mods... yes, it has a couple already - Milltek exhaust & Takeda intake...
Probably won't do much to it, aside from feeding it's drinking problem, and giving it some new boots every now and then... although maybe a re-trim of the steering wheel & gaiters?
Would like to do a couple of trackdays too at some point, maybe get back to the 'Ring before it all gets closed-down...

yikes... early start this! I don't think there's much chance I'll be able to make it for the convoy, as am away visiting family the saturday night...
I will be along a bit later on though.
Ian, should I "register interest" seperately on their website if not arriving with the convoy?
