  1. I went from a 53 coupé to a 56 roadster and back again to an 08 coupé, and what I noticed most during the last change was how solid the car felt compared to the roadster. I was expecting to miss the roadster noise but in actual fact the latest engine (with the dual intakes) sounds better yet.

  2. They should have a USB port and then sell (yes sell) a card reader. Then you can cover all bases even newer formats with new card readers. In device terms, all cards and USB should show up as drives to the HU (as they do with PC) so could read anything attached.

You can get adapters which turn pretty much any format you want into CF.

  3. Here are a few pictures from the event. Saturday was absolutely brilliant, not too hot, no traffic to contend with, good crowd and atmosphere without being crowded, and a great showing from Salvador Duran to win WSR race 1.

The WSR cars were fantastic - very nearly on a par with A1GP or GP2 cars, and sounding glorious - hard to believe there's a VQ under the Renault badges!

There was a black pre-hump coupé with Nismo kit leaving as I walked back into the car pack; it had been parked a few rows ahead of me but I didn't notice it when I walked in.

  4. The brochure still clearly lists Bluetooth as standard - my car was delivered at the start of May without either cradle or adapter but my dealer assures me I will get them once whatever supply problems Nissan have are resolved.

  5. I'd have thought that there's every possibility that when they say "goes on sale" they mean the order books open. If it's anything like the 350 it'll be 2010 before anyone actually gets one!

Personally I'm waiting to see what happens with things like Nismo kits as they were another 6-12 months after the initial deliveries last time too...

  6. ... per sé but only just made my first post here.

I'm now on my third Z33, having owned a Sunset coupé ordered during the initial UK launch, and then an Azure roadster.

Got a 'humpy' a couple of weeks ago after the novelty factor of the roadster had worn off. It's not a GT model because I don't like the leather seats (I'm only small and I slide all over the place in them) but it does have the Nismo aero kit.

Here's a picture from the spring car show at Duxford a couple weeks ago, before I put the front and rear Nismo badges on; it's Night Blue but looks black except when it rains.

    More pictures from Duxford here.

Gotta say I don't really like the wing, but the skirts and splitter are just what the car needs to look suitably aggressive without being 'ricey'.

Next stop a 370Z once they release a Nismo kit for it...

  7. All coupés are supposed to come with the bluetooth kit now, base and GT. There's a supply problem which means some (like mine) are currently being delivered without, but I've been assured by my dealer that the cradle and adapter will be fitted at some point.

The roadster on the other hand does not have the phone integration, bluetooth or otherwise, in either grade. If your dealer has offered something free to make up for it I'd bite his hand off for it.
