  1. In excellent condition, 1 owner and no accidents. Up for sale on eBay (with photos) presently but please feel free to get in touch directly if interested. 2004 Nissan 350Z 3.5 V6 GT 3dr Coupe 37000 miles Manual transmission Metallic Gunmetal Grey with Black Leather Interior Bose 6 CD Changer Rays Alloys Sat Nav Electric/heated seats Xenon lights Cruise Control Full service history MOT Optional bluetooth handsfree http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300239790425
  2. *bump* Less than 24 hours to go on this... still only at £10!
  3. Now up on eBay. Full details: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300114320431 Happy bidding! Tom
  4. Since upgrading to a bluetooth cradle I now have the old cradle with an unlocked T68i (including a new unopened original battery) which I was planning to list on eBay. This is a great solution if you have a second SIM which gives you a separate/permanent number in your car. Any interest at all? Cheers, Tom
  5. Alternatively you can just go onto Vodafone's website and order a free PAYG sim... for the few calls I make from the car that would be more than sufficient. I actually had an old Orange account which I kept open and switched onto a matched Virgin tariff so pay only for the calls that I make (no monthly). Up to you though...
  6. Well if you're anywhere near Brentwood (Essex) and happy with the price above, you're welcome to come around and test it first...
  7. Looked around a bit and it looks like the T68 unlocked goes for between £15-25 on eBay. The cradle was originally £150, but considering you can buy the bluetooth for less now I don't expect to get near that. Does £70 for the phone, all accessories incl. new battery, and cradle seem fair?
  8. I would assume it would work - I believe the cradles are the same across all 350's (and possibly other Nissan models). I haven't actually listed it on eBay as yet - I wanted to see if there was any interest at all before I even bothered. Not sure what would be a fair price... If you're interested let me know what you think.
  9. Forgot to mention the phone is unlocked for use on any network, so all you'd need is a 'free' pay-as-you-go SIM pack from any provider and you'll have cheap dedicated handsfree in your Z!
  10. Anyone interested in picking up a cradle including a SonyEricsson T68i? The phone is in excellent condition and comes with a new battery (still in packaging!) I'm considering listing on eBay but wanted to guage interest first. Cheers all, Tom
  11. Which confuses me - if it has obviously 'found' the phone once, why would it be looking for other devices? According to the manual it should only try to connect to the last phone it was connected to (and it's only paired to one phone).
  12. Almost forgot.. I noticed the last time the connection failed that the LED on the adapter was flashing red/yellow intermittently. Does anyone know what this means? I can't seem to find it in the manual that accompanied the adapter.
  13. Doh - spoke too soon I guess... got into the car this evening and it did the same again... connected for a second, then disconnected, and refused connection again until I removed the bluetooth adapter and re-inserted. Will speak to dealer on Friday... grrrr!
  14. Strange... I just went out to test and it connected first time and stayed connected. I switched off the ignition about 10 times, each time waiting for the bluetooth connection to disappear from the phone, and each time it reconnected perfectly. Guess I'll watch it over the next few days and see how it goes. It's booked in Friday for service anyway so worst case I'll ask them to check it out. Thanks all for your suggestions, etc. Cheers, Tom
  15. Thanks - but there are definitely no other bluetooth devices in the vicinity (definitely nothing else paired with my phone) when this occurs. On the bright side - at least it *consistently* fails.
  16. Thanks for the reply. It's definitely not losing the bluetooth connection as the phone is already right next to the centre console. Also if I unplug the bluetooth adapter and reinsert it connects immediately and maintains the connection. I'm inclined to think the unit in the car is having problems. As it's an 04 model I wonder if maybe they've made changes to the in-car bit that affects its compatibility with the bluetooth module (for that matter it didn't work reliably with an actual phone/cradle either!) It's going in for 27k service in the coming weeks so I may just book it in sooner and ask them to check it out. I'm just a bit worried that they'll moan about the bluetooth bit as it wasn't purchased from them.
  17. I've swapped out my old phone cradle today for a bluetooth adapter (thanks Mr. F!) and, in general, it works MUCH better. The only problem seems to be when I walk away from the car (switch off) and later return. When the car starts it makes a connection to the phone as it should, the stereo shows 'PHONE' and I get the connection tone. Seconds later it disconnects, and the only way I can get it to reconnect is to remove the bluetooth adapter from the cradle and re-insert. It then connects up fine and stays connected until I switch off again. I should mention that even with the old cradle I often had issues with it. Most times I went to use it I'd have to remove the phone from the cradle, switch the phone off and on again, then replace in the cradle, after which it worked. I've tried searching the forum for similar issues, but can't find this particular problem. Has anyone seen this or similar? Would you believe the in-car portion of the system to be at fault? Should I approach Nissan (they've already replaced it once!) Incidentally it's a Nokia N80, and the car is an '04 reg. Cheers all, Tom
